Founders' Day 2025

Every year on the first Saturday in November, alumnae return to campus for a special day of connection and celebration – and Saturday 1 November 2025 was no different.

Founders’ Day remains one of Dio’s most cherished traditions -a time for students, alumnae, staff, and friends to come together and celebrate the spirit of our school. First held to honour Bishop Moore, Richard Neligan and Mary Etheldred Pulling, who founded Diocesan in 1903, the day continues to remind us of their vision to create a place where girls could thrive in learning, leadership, and community. It is a day to reflect on Dio’s proud history, celebrate the achievements of Dio women across generations, and look ahead with inspiration to the future.

Programme & Venues
The 2025 programme began with high tea, followed by a chapel service, AGM, and a school tour  before concluding with a cocktail party where alumnae enjoyed the chance to share stories and reconnect with old school friends and teachers.

Save the date for 2026 – Saturday 7th November!
