Following the success of our first two Lunch & Learn events, the Dio Alumnae Association is proud to host the third event in our Lunch & Learn series: From Newsrooms to Novels.

Join us for our next Lunch & Learn event as we explore the power of storytelling through journalism, fiction and the narratives that shape our world.

We’re delighted to welcome Dio alumnae Charlotte Glennie (PY1989) former TVNZ Asia correspondent and award-winning journalist, who will share insights from her remarkable career covering major global events and writing her memoir Every Second Counts and Jessy Wu (PY2012), entrepreneur, columnist and author of the book Good Intentions, who will discuss her journey from journalism to fiction writing, where reporters and real-world issues help drive the story.

Together we’ll delve into the craft of storytelling, the transition from journalism to authorship, and the experiences that inspired their books and careers.

Moderated by former journalist and news producer Charlotte Whale (PY 2000), whose career included roles with BBC World News and Al Jazeera covering some of the world’s biggest stories.

This special alumnae event promises an engaging afternoon of conversation, connection and insight, bringing together women with remarkable stories to tell.
