Over 60 Dio alumnae came together for the launch of our brand-new Lunch & Learn series – created by alumnae, for alumnae. The series is designed as a chance to step away from the everyday and reconnect over bold ideas, timely issues, and inspiring kōrero.
Our first session explored a topic shaping an entire generation: the impact of early social media exposure on young people. In a world where technology moves faster than parenting guides or policy, the discussion centred on how we can keep up – and what meaningful connection looks like today.
Alumnae Rochelle Moffitt and Dr Sam Marsh, along with Cecilia Robinson, co-founder of B416, shared powerful insights into how tech, social change, and youth wellbeing intersect. It was an engaging, thought-provoking event that set the tone for the series ahead.
